Professional organizing services are typically charged per hour. Our standard hourly rate is $60. If the job is determined to need an additional organizer, for reasons such as time constraints, heavy equipment being moved, or a large volume of work, the hourly rate is $85. However, with an extra organizer, the amount of time that the job will take is sure to decrease.

If new products need to be purchased, they will be bought by the Organizer and reimbursed by the client. This saves you the time of running around looking for items, and allows the Organizer to purchase the most appropriate products for your needs.

In addition, Conquering Chaos will at no extra cost:

  • Drop off of donations to Goodwill and get you a receipt
  • Take newspaper, office paper, cardboard and junk mail to a recycling facility

Payment is requested at the end of each session for the services and products provided. If a project is ongoing for some time, other means of payment may be discussed. Payment is accepted by check, money order or cash, as well as by PayPal and credit card through the link below.

Conquering Chaos has a minimum appointment time of 3 hours per appointment, and a maximum appointment time of 8 hours. There is no limit to the amount of appointments that can be made per week or per month. We are dedicated to assisting you with your organizational needs until the entire job is done!

The Conquering Chaos process has one underlying principle--to provide you with the most effective and comprehensive organizational solutions possible!

When you first contact Conquering Chaos, we will discuss your current organizing situation and your needs. This allows us to get an accurate idea of the size of the job and the different resources that will be needed. Based on this information, an approximate amount of time will be given, and at that point you can book your first appointment!

During the first appointment, the initial hour will be an assessment of the job. Take us on a tour of the premises and show us exactly what we will be tackling. We can then come up with a game plan on how to most effectively handle all of the various components of the job.

In general, the first part of organizing is to sort what you have into categories, and purge anything that you no longer want and need. Then, we rearrange the space if needed, create new organizational systems and containerize everything to make it easy to find and use. The last step of the process is for you to maintain the systems and keep the space organized!

As we work through the job, we will track the progress and ensure that we are on schedule. If our scheduled appointment time is up and we are in the middle of a project, it may be possible to extend the appointment depending on schedule. Or, you may be assigned homework!

Whatever the case, we want the organizing process to be educational and fun. We want to provide you with the knowledge and skills to identify clutter and tackle it before it gets out of control. To us, a successful client is one who does not need to contact us a second time!
